Sustainable ceiling covering in wood
NORTO CeilingUP are various sustainable ceiling coverings made from upcycled wood from residual production in the furniture, staircase and window industry. The remaining wood is certified and comes from sustainable forestry in Northern Europe, where nature, the environment, wildlife and the local community are taken into account and protected. The ceiling coverings are made exclusively from the residual wood that has ended up in the waste container, and no new trees have been felled to produce the ceiling coverings. This means that we have given the wood new life, purpose and function in various ceiling coverings in several designs.
As the ceiling coverings consist of residual wood, each individual product will appear completely unique in design, as the surface structure of the wood varies in relation to knots, cuts, annual rings and stamps from the sawmills. The ceiling coverings can be tailored so that they fit with the rest of the commercial decor in, for example, the restaurant, the office environment, the hotel, the reception or the company. Several of the ceiling coverings are fire approved and sound tested, so that good acoustics can be achieved in the room.
